Redefining Commercial Tyre Manufacturing
ChakraPlus was established to replace obsolete tyre repair practices with aerospace-grade cold-cure bonding, robotic shearography diagnostics, and scheduled yard logistics.
Precision Engineering Meets Fleet Economics
In India's rapidly expanding commercial transport network, tyre expenditure represents the second highest operational cost after diesel. Yet, thousands of structurally pristine tyre casings are prematurely scrapped due to superficial belt injuries or obsolete mould vulcanization techniques.
At our central Taratala plant in Kolkata, we treat every commercial tyre casing as a precision pressure vessel. Combining automated laser shearography, cold-cure pre-cure bonding at a gentle 98°C, and digital custody tracking, we deliver retreads that rival the safety, balance, and mileage of brand new virgin radials at a third of the cost.
The 9-Stage Precision Retreading Process
Every commercial casing follows a rigorous, barcode-controlled trajectory through our plant.
High-Pressure Wash & RFID Tagging
Casings are chemically de-greased, dried, and assigned a unique laser barcode tracking number.
Laser Shearography Inspection
Vacuum chamber diagnostics detect sub-surface belt separation, belt rust, and crown voids.
CNC Precision Buffing
Automated buffing heads contour the worn tread to exact radial radius while preserving 2mm undertread.
Section & Injury Vulcanization
Crown perforations and bead defects receive reinforced aramid patches and chemical vulcanization.
Extruder Cushion Gum Layer
High-bond bonding gum is applied hot from an extruder head to eliminate air trapping.
Laser-Guided Tread Building
High-density pre-cured tread runners are applied with calibrated tension and laser centring.
Multi-Envelope Vacuum Enclosure
Tyres are enveloped in outer rubber jackets and inner tubes to ensure uniform autoclave pressure.
Automated Autoclave Curing
Cured inside computerized chambers at 98°C and 6 Bar pressure for 3.5 hours.
High-Pressure Final QC & Release
100% of finished tyres are pressure tested at 130 PSI and dynamically checked before delivery.
Conserving Critical Industrial Resources
Crude Oil Conserved
Manufacturing a new commercial truck tyre consumes 83 liters of oil; a ChakraPlus retread requires only 15 liters.
CO2 Emissions Avoided
Every retreaded casing reduces industrial carbon footprint and prevents premature rubber incineration.
Casings Saved from Landfills
