Terms of Service & Retreading Agreement

1. Scope of Commercial Agreement

These Terms of Service govern all tyre retreading, repair, inspection, doorstep collection, and fleet asset management services contracted through ChakraPlus Retreading & Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("ChakraPlus"). By submitting a pickup booking online, via phone, or through our fleet representative, the customer agrees to these conditions.

2. Chain of Custody & Bailment

All tyre casings surrendered to ChakraPlus remain the sole property of the customer. ChakraPlus acts as a specialized remanufacturing bailee. A digital pickup receipt with serialized barcodes is issued at the customer's depot, establishing the verified custody handshake.

3. Non-Destructive Inspection & Revised Estimates

Every casing received undergoes ultrasonic shearography scanning before buffing. If hidden sub-surface defects (such as belt oxidation, cord fractures, or nail perforations) are detected:

• ChakraPlus will pause production and generate a digital Inspection Report with photographic scans.
• If supplementary reinforcement patches or section vulcanization are required, a revised price estimate will be posted to the customer portal and sent via SMS/WhatsApp.
• Production resumes only upon written/portal authorization by the customer. If declined, the casing will be returned during the next depot route without retreading charges.

4. Turnaround Times & Delivery SLAs

Standard commercial turnaround for pre-cure cold retreading is 3 to 5 business days from receipt at our Taratala plant. Severe section vulcanizations may require an additional 24 hours for curing stabilization. Force majeure events (severe highway blockades, regional power grid failures) are excluded from standard turnaround calculations.

5. Commercial Pricing, GST & Payment

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST at 18%). Payment terms:

• Individual Vehicle Operators: Payment upon digital dispatch gate pass or Cash/UPI on delivery.
• Registered Fleet Accounts: 15-day or 30-day corporate credit subject to executed MSME master service agreements.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
